You'll never go wrong with eggs and ham in a salad. To amp up the nutritional value, add in some quinoa (pronounced “keen-nwah”).
This superfood is packed with protein, fiber, magnesium and iron. It is also gluten-free and is easily digestable. Quinoa imparts a lovely nutty flavour to the dish, much like how sesame seeds/oil lifts up a meal. You can find quinoa in the organic section of most supermarkets and grocery stores.
